What 3D-Printing technology is right for your application?

It is not a simple question as there are so many different categories of technology when it comes to 3D-Printing and sometimes it is difficult to decide which ones to use. 

Here we look at a rough overview of technologies. We focus on the most common industrial ones that are available on the market. Fused deposition modeling (FDM) would be considered as one of the most common ones but we leave it out from this as we don’t offer it and consider it a technology that companies can utilize themselves by purchasing some basic equipment.

Ideal Applications low volume production, tooling, dental, DMLS have mechanical properties equivalent to a cast metal part. Low volume production, concept models, prototypes, master patterns, scale models, optical parts. Prototypes, serial production, end use parts, high heat & chemically resistant applications.
